Barefoot/ Pose/ Chi Running: Inov-8 RoadX 255. Great “minimal” shoe with enough cushioning that you don’t break/ bruise all the bones in your feet while you’re getting accustomed to the new routine. I started with the Inov-8 F230’s which were great for CrossFit but didn’t hold up well on the road. Switched to New Balance (Trail) Minimus which were great but painful above 5 miles/ day or 20 miles/ week. Still have the NB for the gym but am a month into the Inov-8 Road-X 255’s and they are fantastic - Inov-8 Footwear Road-X 255.
